Ask A Doctor - benign brown freckle? - DesiMD Healthcare Services

hello- I've got a benign freckle on my left eye that takes up approximately 2/3 of the whites of my eye (sclera) i was wondering if I could remove this in anyway? it makes me self conscious. I know it isn't recommended but I really want to get rid of it. I'm 16, female, im mixed between Indian / Ethiopian. my parents both haven't had it so it's isn't hereditary. I'm very healthy. - Asked by B D on 18-Aug-2015 07:57:05

Nothing to worry. Such marks are common and its nor advisable to get it removed if you are not having any symptoms and if you are not having any visual disturbances. You can simply ignore. Consult an ophthalmologist for further advice.
