    The gallbladder holds a digestive fluid that's released into your small intestine (bile).

    In most cases, gallstones blocking the tube leading out of your gallbladder this results in a bile buildup that can cause inflammation.

     causes:Gallbladder inflammation is most commonly caused by gallstones but can also occur due to blockage from a tumor or scarring of the bile duct

    Risk factors :for gallstones and are female sex, increasing age, pregnancyoral contraceptivesobesitydiabetes mellitusethnicity (Native North American), rapid weight loss. 

    symptoms :right upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and fever 

     the definitive treatment :surgical removal of the gallbladder,cholecystectomy.Supportive measures are usually instituted prior to surgery. These measures include fluid resuscitation and antibiotics targeting enteric organisms.
