Ask A Doctor - Genital warts or just allergic reaction? - DesiMD Healthcare Services

Im not sure if im allergic to latex but i have these small bumps/ their flat n ridged on the inner lining of my labia...they normally disappear but whenever i have sexual intercourse they reappear after....i went in january to see if it might have been hpv but i was cleared of that...do you think it is gential warts or its just caused by too much friction from the latex? - Asked by S S on 06-Nov-2014 02:04:35

    hello

    Are the rashes itching ?

    What is your age?

Genital warts are not itchy so if its disappearing itself then you need not worry much.. It could be because of allergy to latex as you said.

No they do not itch. Its not necessarily a rash, its just small little flat bumps on the inner layer of my labia and i am 21 years old. Ive seen photos of genital warts and they sort of look alittle alike but not quite and i dont think they are warts because i was tested for hpv and didnt have that.

Ok Good Then you need not worry. try to wash off thoroughly after intercourse . and if the problem still persists then you can meet a dermatologist who can physically examine and prescribe accordingly
