Ask A Doctor - I am a 36 yr old healthy and active male. I have.. - DesiMD Healthcare Services

I am a 36 yr old healthy and active male. I have no symptoms at all and I have never had previous X-rays for my back and never had back symptoms. I did an xray for my back 1 month ago and it was reported I have mild scoliosis with Cobb and angle 18 degrees as well as mild narrowing disc space at L2 and L3 with small osteophytes. the height of the veterbrae are normal and all other stuff they mentioned are normal. Is this degenerative since stenosis is there with a risk of progression ? or maybe idiopathic but I didn't know while I was a child . I know a follow up xray is needed .. I'm worried because I exercise a lot and is it likely to progress 3 degrees a year as I read on the Internet ?? thank you for your help and feedback - Asked by F S on 04-Dec-2015 19:53:40
