You can get it removed by a cauterization but its always better to get it done by experts its a simple procedure which is not very painful. Meet a dermatologist who would do it a better and hygienic way

Skin tags are extra growth of normal skin. Most people have a family history or are on higher side of weight. The chances of infections increase if you use a string to tie at the base. Also if you succeed the chances of scarring and a mark left behind us much higher. Radio-frequency under cream anesthesia is a much better way of removing Skin tags. Also it would not leave behind a mark if done well and aftercare followed properly. Meet your dermatologist and ask about the options. Thanks Dr Sonali
