    Hi,

It may be infection could be both bacterial or fungal and needs some broad spectrum antibiotic and antifungal. If itching is severe you probably need a local steroid. Take precaution not to get dust on lesion and try keep it dry by application of talcum powder to foot frequently. It is better to use antibiotic powder than cream since dust particles can get lodge and aggravate the lesion. You can retry the medicine for about 7-10 days for relief.
