I am 25 years of age, Male. i have pimples problem from the age of 17. I have many Red pimple marks on my face as i have oily skin. my friend suggested me isotretinoin cream. Is it okay to use this? - Asked by R S on 04-Aug-2014 01:08:04

    Hi

    Pimples are more common in people with oily skin. Take measures to avoid excessive oil on your body. Avoid oil based face creams, wash face repeatedly with water and donot use soap all the time, use a very mild soap. If you have not used any medication before first try benzoyl peroxide local application cream. If pimples remain refractory to this then you can go for systemic antibiotics like Doxycycline and Isotretinoin cream for local application but before starting that see a dermatologist.

this isoterinion cream is for pimple marks also?

i went to chemist for buying isotretinoin cream. But he gave me Tretinoin Cream Retino-A 0.05% and Isotroin-10 Capsules. Is this okay? is this the same cream?
