long story short, my knee always locks up when it is in the hero's pose (yoga). aka W sitting. its when the hips are internally rotated and the lower legs are externally rotated. anyways, my bad knee always locks up and is very painful for a while after that. why? - Asked by i w on 12-Nov-2014 11:32:29

    Hello 

    Did u anytime had sustaines any injury to your knee joint. Sometimes an old ligament injury can cause locking of knee. Get an Xray done and meet a orthopedician for physical examination and further advice . Physiotherapy also helps

i put abnormal stress on my medial knee over time.
