CKD is usually classified based on GFR. Creatinine is usually between 0.8 to 1.8 for those with single kidney .  Kindly meet a urologist with all test reports for further advice. Call our helpline to know the best urologist available near your area.

Thanks for your reply. If this are the normal ranges then how it is effective or decision maker on calculating gfr to determine kidney function?

Ideally , one kidney should be able to handle the needs of your body. Creatinine depends on numerous factors and similarly GFR esp your age and weight are the major contributors. Adequate hydration, low salt diet and avoiding medications that could affect kidneys. Your questions could be answered better by nephrologist .
