The best way to differentiate is to see your doctor to get a wet prep done after a pelvic exam. Other way is to finish the current course of antibiotic and wait for 5-7 days and if symptoms still persist, then request your doctor to give a trial course of antibiotic for candida infection which usually is a single dose of diflucan. If there is a high risk sexual behavior, cultures need to be sent by your doctor for Sexually transmitted infections.
