Health Checkups For 40 Plus

“Life begins at 40 – but so do fallen arches, rheumatism, faulty eyesight, and the tendency to tell a story to the same person, three or four times”- Helen Rowland. Forty is life’s golden age, if you’ve taken care of your health all along. If you didn’t, it’s never too late. Act now! It’s time you go for regular checkups, even if you think you are healthy and fine.

To prevent such disorder, doctors advise age-specific medical checkups beginning 30 or 40 depending on one’s health profile.

Why are Health Checkups (HCP) advised?

At 40, it’s time to assess your present state of your health, correct past indiscretions if any, and prepare your body for long term health. Some disorders like hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol occur because of family history or faulty lifestyle. They are silent killers without symptoms. So, to prevent them, Health Checks are a must, say doctors.
