Hi Doctor, I am 25 year old female. I was pregnant and got abortion on 30th July. My last period was June 24. I had hcg trigger on 5th July and took hcg blood test on 24th july. The count was 100.3. After one week i got urinary tract infection and doctor suggested me to took beta hcg test again. It was decreasing and got blood discharge for few days. Doctor said it was chemical pregnancy. My question is what causes for my abortion and can i conceive again with a healthy baby? Please try to answer my doubts as soon as possible. - Asked by t x on 11-Aug-2016 11:33:54

     no need to worry you can definitely  conceive ,,,as you conceived once chances of becoming pregnant will be more ,,unless any gross abnormalities are seen.

    Most of the time, a specific cause for miscarriage cannot be identified, though up to 70 percent of first-trimester miscarriages, and 20 percent of second-trimester miscarriages, are caused by chromosomal anomalies. Other possible causes could include auto immune disorders,,anatomical defects ,drugs.

    once get through examination by gynaecologist even though the cause is not specific in first trimester to rule out other causes.
